The New Year is just 9 days old and already we have seen two great initiatives in support of health and well being Mindfulness.

First up we had the announcement that the Federal Government has provided $27Million in support of the McGrath Foundation's Breast Cancer Nurse programme.

This has been followed up with the announcement by the Minister for Health, Greg Hunt, that a Summit on Mental Health headed up by young people who have struggled with depression and anxiety, will be funded under the $47Million cash boost to the National Health Foundation - Headspace.

Without doubt great news for all Australians.
