'The Shady Glens' Bunnings BBQ #2 delivers a fundraising result of $600.

This takes the current Total Fundraising tally to $6,500 on the way to $10,000.

Many thanks to everyone who visited our stand, not only donating by buying a sausage sanger and a cold drink, but for also being curious to know more about the Rally and the link with Cancer Council.

Once again a poignant reminder as to why all of us involved in the 'SBox Rally' do what we do!

The Shady Glens 'Paella Gala Night' at Bilgola on Saturday June 22nd is set to be the 'jewel in the crown' of the team's fundraising portfolio.

Starting at 6.00pm, the evening includes 5 hours of entertainment including sets by local musos, 'Rodant'; presentations by 'The Shady Glens'; 'Mystery Prizes in a Balloon'; a 'Silent Auction', a 'Live Auction', (already featuring such amazing items as a Harbour Cruise 'Under Sail' (for 8 pax); a Harbour Cruise 'Under Motor' (for 8 pax); a 'Musical Gig' package from Ant Meagher, (includes 45 songs, great for Weddings or Private Parties), with many more items to come.

Paella will be the gourmet delight for the evening, be it the signature dish featuring a combo of chicken, chorizo, prawns and mussels, or a non-seafood or vegan option being available. All served with crusty bread, salad and aioli!

The venue is fully licensed, (so no BYO please), with wines by Hunter Valley's prestigious winery, 'Molly's Cradle', (available for purchase by the bottle).
